How to Upcycle Your Cupcake  Container!

Step 1:          Clean container

Step 2:         Cut a few small slits into bottom of container to allow for

                 drainage of excess water

Step 3:         Fill container with soil

Step 4:         Make divots in soil with your finger

Step 5:         Place seeds in divots at recommended depths on seed package

Step 6:         Cover seeds with soil and thoroughly wet soil

Step 7:         Close lid and place in sunny area – check occasionally to keep soil moist

Helpful Tips!

• After your seedlings have popped through the soil, keep a close eye on them.  Just before they touch the top of the plastic, open the container – if they touch the top, the seedlings can burn.

 

• Reuse your container more than once!  Keep a garden in your home through the winter.
